We all are traveler of the path of old karma and suffering at some stage in our lives. We whine and grumble endlessly at even the slightest suffering we go through. We say, “Oh, what a big trial! I am unable to bear this. With whom can I share my tears and mental agony?
The constant question that all men face as they go through this cyclic journey is that how will they manage their problems. Man feels helpless and worried in the face of all these problems. This constant stress results in the absence of peace of mind and absence of joy in our lives. Seeing man nervous and joyless, The Lord decided to come down to the earth, on Indian soil. He came with the new name ‘Kalki’. He has promised us many things but the question is that how will He fulfill these promises? This will be done through the appearance of a great surprise or will be done as miracles. Today mostly people take the promise of the Lord lightly and think that those promises will never be fulfilled. All the things that you want to have in your life, the Lord is easily able to provide but what is required from you is to have faith in the Lord just as Moses had faith in the Lord. It is said that Moses had so much faith in God, that God would speak to Moses face to face.
God’s promises are to carry us through when we need help. He has made a promise to all those who love Him. He has promised each one of us a crown of life that we will wear for eternity! Because our Heavenly Father never makes duplicates, I can only assume that each crown will be uniquely crafted and custom-fitted for the wearer. I find it interesting that James speaks about the promise of a crown in the same verse where He talks about persevering under great trial. Perhaps the greater the trials, the bigger the crown? I don’t have a theological coat rack to hang my hat on for this one, but I do know that God’s heart is for the under privileged and the marginalized.
In Bible, James 2:5 it is prophesied – … Listen, my dear brothers: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom He promised those who love Him? So be of good cheer today. If you are suffering under great trials, God understands.
He sees everything you are going through and He promises a crown of life for all that love Him. So don’t give up, keep on going, for one day we will all be wearing a crown of life created for us by our loving Father. He has promised in Bible, Psalm 32:8, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye”.
The promises of God start with Bible, II Timothy 3:16 when God tells us that all Scriptures in the Bible are inspired by God. With this promise of God in hand we can then be assured that what we learn in the Bible comes from Him! Are you standing on the promises of God today? Is God your all in all?
